It was always hard in PA because the state competition is very fierce year after year, kind of like Arkansas. One possible solution to all of this that is legal and highly irritating to copy cats is blocking the audiences view of the structure in order to hide certain specifics. People that copy cat have always been an issue for top teams. It was discussed in great length here after AC's Odd Pod loophole at world's was copied and actually used for the competition. It ends up being a very touchy subject, but there is a certain need to hold dearly to trade secrets, especially at a competition like worlds that resides over several days.
