I understand your quandry! Last year was my Div1 team's first time. Their structure held 90lbs but was not within specs, so they were severly penalized (1 gram over weight & could not fit the circle all the way over the top). Go to the OM World site & some of the state's sites and show them pictures of past competitions. Also, as Nate said, look at Jake's site. It was very helpful. Most of all, let this year be a learning experience. The problem is very challenging, but there are a few things you can do to be competitive even if you don't hold a lot of weight. Look at the scoring for the container & style elements. Spend extra time on spontaneous. If it's close on weight, these will make the difference. Good luck! Trust me, it gets better...our team seems to be pulling it all together now (State's is on the 13th!)
